But really, how many of the respondents were just frustrated forum trolls excited that someone finally cared about their opinion?Agreed on the Fallout MMRPG (or even something along the lines of the old Gamma World setting)! As for Star Trek, it was inevitable, but let’s just hope it’s not some sort of endless “away team” thing where you run around shooting space rats with your phaser to get the phat lewts. “Sir, I retrieved the 15 Ferengi Necklaces you requested.” “Excellent, Ensign! Here’s your promotion!” And so on. Star Trek’s military-style chain of command, emphasis on diplomacy and lack of endless hours of running around on foot seem less suited to a MMRPG… though hey, it’s no more silly than doing that in Star Wars. I’ll certainly be watching to see what they do with it (assuming, of course, it’s ever actually released). I for one am jonesing for a good science fiction-based MMRPG, in the wake of the Imperator cancellation…(Edit: After reading the most recent…
